For constituents planning a trip to Washington D.C., my staff is available to help schedule tours of the U.S. Capitol building and other sites. Please submit your tour request at least eight (8) weeks in advance because tour space fills up quickly, particularly during holiday seasons and school vacations.

Part 1: Begin Your Tour Request

Please submit your tour request via this online form. Eliza Ramirez takes care of all tour arrangements for my office. She can be reached in our Washington office at (202) 225-5111.

The White House

The White House has resumed tours on a limited basis. Please note that due to the limited availability of tours, the White House is unable to accommodate all requests. Requests are accepted from 6 months to 21 days prior to a visit, but for the best possible chance of being approved for a tour we highly recommend requesting the tour 3-6 months in advance. Please know our office is unable to process requests made less than 21 days prior to a visit.

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing offers tours to the general public Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 2 PM. All tours must be reserved by calling 202-874-2330 and may be made up to 1 week in advance. Tours for school groups are limited to 25 people and are available from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Please call to arrange a time slot. Our office can help arrange a Congressional Tour, limited to 10 people and held at 8:15 am or 8:45 am. Please submit your request to us at least a month ahead of time to arrange a tour of the BEP.

Library of Congress

The Library of Congress offers hour-long, fully accessible docent-led tours of the historic Thomas Jefferson Building. During your tour you will learn about the Building's symbolic art and architecture. Professionally trained docents tell the story of the Library by talking about its history, its collections (including the Gutenberg Bible), and the services provided to Congress and the nation. Tours are offered Monday Saturday, 10:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm (no 3:30pm tour on Saturdays).

The Supreme Court

The Supreme Court is open to the public for tours Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM, except when the court is in session. It is closed in August. We can help arrange a Congressional tour for up to 4 people. These tours are offered at 2 pm daily and include a courtroom lecture. Congressional tours are available on a limited number of dates. Please submit your request to us least two weeks ahead of time.

The Pentagon

All guided tours of the Pentagon are free and are conducted Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tours are not conducted on weekends or federal holidays.
