Congressman Capuano Listens to Constituents About Iraq

September 23, 2002 -- Congressman Mike Capuano (D-MA) is touring his 8th Congressional District conversing with constituents regarding the possibility of American action against Iraq.

"I am gravely concerned about recent developments relating to Iraq and I am interested in hearing from my constituents in an informal setting," stated Congressman Capuano, who will be at the following locations today and tomorrow:

  1. Lechmere T Station on Cambridge Street in Cambridge Monday, September 23rd
    from 4:30 - 5:30 PM
  2. 951 Bennington Street, Dunkin Donuts in East Boston Tuesday, September 24th

Congressman Capuano has already spent time in Hyde Park, Charlestown, Jamaica Plain and the South End. If Congress does not vote on a resolution regarding Iraq this week, he will continue touring the 8th district over the weekend.
