Earlier this week, I sent you a link to the proposed House legislation on health care reform, which was released Tuesday afternoon. I thought you would be interested in some of the resources that the Committee on Ways and Means has posted since the measure was introduced:
Work has begun in several House committees and Democratic leadership hopes that a bill will be ready for floor action by the end of the month. Time is short to review the bill and its potential impact.
I am still analyzing this landmark legislation, with particular attention paid to (1) whether the bill advances the important goal of universal access to health care, and (2) how the bill impacts Massachusetts.
Thanks to those who have already weighed in with my office. I really appreciate your feedback and hope many more of you will share your thoughts on health care reform as we move closer to a floor vote.
